01. HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION OR WEDDING?
Once you’re ready to book, just reach out through my contact form and tell me a little about what you’re planning.
For weddings, I’ll send over package options, your contract, and invoice, and your date is officially reserved once the contract is signed and the 50% retainer is paid.
For portrait sessions, I’ll help you choose the right session, confirm availability, and get everything scheduled. From there, I’ll stay in touch and help with planning, location ideas, timeline assistance, and anything else you need leading up to your session or wedding.
02. Do you travel?
Absolutely! I’m based in Roanoke, Virginia, but I’m always happy to travel for weddings, elopements, and portrait sessions. Travel within 30 miles is included, and locations beyond that may include an additional travel fee depending on the distance and what’s needed. If you have a location in mind, send it my way and I’ll include any travel details in your quote.
03. How do you handle family photos on the wedding day?
Before the wedding, I’ll have you send me a list of the family groupings that are most important to you so we can keep things organized and moving smoothly. On the wedding day, I’ll guide everyone through those combinations as efficiently as possible so you can get back to enjoying your day. I always recommend keeping the list focused on immediate family and the people you truly want included, then we can grab any extra group photos throughout the reception.
04. Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes! Engagement sessions are included with both my Heirloom and Legacy wedding collections and can also be added onto my other wedding packages. They’re a great chance for us to get comfortable working together before the wedding day, especially if being in front of the camera feels a little intimidating. We’ll choose a location that feels like you, and I’ll guide you throughout the session so everything feels natural and relaxed. Plus, you’ll have beautiful photos to use for save-the-dates, invitations, or just to document this season together.
